Maintains, tunes and repairs all studio equipment. Keeps lighting, audio, cameras, network and streaming software running reliably, ensuring zero stream downtime and fast fault response.
Requirements
- 1+ year in live-stream tech support or AV equipment maintenance is a plus
- Knows how to set up cameras, lighting, audio, microphones and streaming software
- Solid networking basics; can diagnose network faults and stream connection issues
- Hands-on and quick, able to fix common faults within 5 minutes
- Responsible, available for flexible hours and on-stream duty shifts
Responsibilities
- Check all studio equipment before streams and ensure 100% readiness
- Monitor equipment in real time during streams and respond to faults immediately
- Maintain, clean and periodically service equipment; keep an asset log and fault history
- Support the camera operator and lighting technician with picture and sound tuning
- Help build new studios, assess equipment purchases and plan technical upgrades
